In a Perfect World
Why I Love Disney
In a perfect world,
We wouldn’t wake up to the sound of our alarm clock “Buzz-buzz-buzz”.
In a perfect world, we’d wake up to: NANTZ INGONYAMA BAGITHI BABA
Commuting to class wouldn’t take us an hour on LA’s freeway.
Because in a perfect world all we’d need is to: THINK OF A WONDERFUL THOUGHT, ANY MERRY LITTLE THOUGHT..
Then it’s easier than pie: WE CAN FLY! WE CAN FLY! WE CAN FLY!
Right into class, right into our seats, with our assignments finished because we’d: BE PREPARED!
In between classes we’d have lunch with buddies, and we’d wouldn’t have to remind them that: THEY’VE GOT A FRIEND IN US.
Working in college can be a real bore. In fact, we’re usually thinking: CINDERELLY CINDERELLY, NIGHT AND DAY IT’S CINDERELLY.
But tonight, that’s okay. We’ve got to hit up the gym for a quick workout so we can: BE SWIFT AS A COURSING RIVER. WITH ALL THE STRENGTH OF A GREAT TYPHOON.
Why tonight? Because it’s date night, and in our mind we’re really thinking: SHA-LA-LA-LA-LA MUSIC PLAY, DO WHAT THE MUSIC SAY, YOU WANNA KISS DE GIRL.
Fortunately for us, this perfect world will give us: UNBELIEVABLE SIGHTS, INDESCRIBABLE FEELINGS. as soon as she says yes, we’re in A WHOLE NEW WORLD!
But now, it’s back to school. An exam is coming up and we must study hard because we really want to: STAND OUT, ABOVE THE CROWD. EVEN IF WE GOTTA SHOUT OUT LOUD! for that A.
One exam down, our next goal is the midterm. But no problem, just remember: I CAN GO THE DISTANCE!
It seems like midterms was only a week ago, but already it’s pre-finals week. In a perfect world we keep encouraging each other because we’ve: CLIMBED THE MOUNTAIN, AND WE’VE CROSSED THE RIVER. AND WE’RE ALMOST THERE!
Whew! Finally we cross that finish line of college degrees, land that awesome job position and all that is left on our mind is: OH I JUST CAN’T WAIT…. to get PAID!
With that awesome job, we wouldn’t hesistate to WHISTLE WHILE YOU WORK.
What’s left in this perfect world?
Well, First comes: SO THIS IS LOVE mmmmmmm SO THIS IS LOVE…
Then comes marriage: TALE AS OLD AS TIME, SONG AS OLD AS RHYME..
Then comes the baby in the baby carriage: FROM THIS DAY ON, NOW AND FOREVER MORE….they’ll be in your heart.
Suburban house, white picket fence, loving wife, adorable children.
In a perfect world our live would unravel like a Fairy Tale with a Happily Ever After…
But it’s not perfect.
So we go to Disneyland for therapy, sing “Part of Your World” for medication, and we Wish Upon a Star every night.
Because, you never know…
HAVE FAITH IN YOUR DREAMS AND SOMEDAY. YOUR RAINBOW WILL COME SMILING THROUGH. NO MATTER HOW YOUR HEART IS BREATHING, IF YOU KEEP ON BELIEVING THE DREAM THAT YOU WISH WILL COME TRUE.
Remember, “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them”. Thanks Uncle Walt.
